Of course, this would not be a playable guitar - you can't bend and squeeze the strings and still have them vibrate correctly - but we wanted to keep the look of the pump handle. The pick-up switch, which on most guitars reads "lead" and "rhythm," was marked as "regular" and "ethyl" to match the gas pump. My other idea was to make it read "lead" and "unleaded."
