I've seen numerous live albums with a stereotypical picture on the back cover: the band waving and bowing to a huge crowd holding thousands of Bic lighters. I thought it'd be fun to do a take off on that. We waited until the real crowd had cleared out, then shot McEuen and Ibby thanking a crowd of one. (Unfortunately, a different record label ended up issuing the live album - titled "Songs & Stories" - and apparently didn't share my sense of humor, and this shot remained unused.)
